Dr. Dawn Weaver: Tree’s mother, a tech wiz and photographer.

Tree Weaver: Born in Antarctica.  Has heightened perception and loves stashing poo.

Obo: The Lone Trekker.

The White-Coats: Scientists of the secret human observatory facility, the Guardian.

Brag: A White-Coat and gambling addict.

Dr. Lamb: A White-Coat, fascinated by ancient civilizations.

Dr. Bird: A White-Coat, who is aware of the interconnected electromagnetic quality of the universe.

The Earth: The Earth.

The Aurora: The energetic thoughts of the Earth.

Thecity (Yowertown): An organism of humankind’s creation.

Muppit Dreadstock: Channel 33 action news reporter.

Joey (Roo): Addicted to Ritalin, loves the didgeridoo.

Dave Hide: An asthmatic TV head.

Blackwater Sound: A man with historic claims to the Sound.

The Sound: The last old-growth forest in the region of Yowertown.

ForAxe: An international logging corporation.

Nalong: Tree’s grandfather, an Aboriginal Australian.

Ihambilbilg: Nalong’s didgeridoo, loves to get into trouble.

Dewha: A forest warrior who upholds the rights of living trees.  Plays fujara.

Feather: A Sound Human existing in multiple times and spaces. 

Garth: A lifer in the tree planting industry.  Loves conspiracy.

Hinata: A tree planter, and master of the mango cult.

Jambo: A tree planter.  His name means ‘Hello’ in Swahili.

Craig (Fatboy): The fascist ruler of the Happy Plant Company, who loves to hear people bullshitting.

Enki: A tree planter, master of energy control, and aspiring flying-carpet pilot.

The Hempertons: A race of beings who live underground, using advanced crystalline technology to cultivate hemp.

Spool: Another tree planting lifer.

Gogoroku: A giant beast that is devouring the Earth, containing the spirit of money.

Emma and Niko: Two ganja-loving tree planters.

MaiBon: King of the Hempertons who works as a serf.

Mana: An alchemist who exists at the atomic level.
